An Afternoon in San Telmo

San Telmo is always a fun afternoon strolling and enjoying the street scene of performers.  An enjoyable Spring afternoon browsing through the cobblestone streets and really cool hundred + year old buildings.

It's fun to inspect the antiques and try to figure out what every is.  You find so many things you can't find back in the Bay Area where the antique shops are very combed through.

It's educational for the kids where even an old TV set is foreign to them-kids of technology and flat screen monitors.  Ivan looks at some tools and can't believe that is really how people had to do things.  Konstantin of course, who goes straight for practicality, empathizes with burdens of kids in the past who didn't have netbooks, ipods, Daddy's cell phone to play with when he gets bored.
Interesting, Chile had a large fair all week-end in the center of downtown.  Shows, dancers, arts and crafts, music, give-a-ways.  A lot of fun culture exchange!
My favorite courtyard in San Telmo

Best pizza in town, Senior Telmo!  Get there before 1pm or you'll have to wait for a lunch table.
