Ivan's class hosted all the parents to a Classroom Tradeshow style event. The kids staffed booths explaining the different projects they have been studying. Ivan was part of the soccer team and can you believe it, his role was to talk about the value of diversity.
The kids used the World Cup as the subject and made posters about the players and their countries. There was an inventions table where Ivan pointed out the true inventor of the radio was Tesla and not what the brochure stated. There was a solar system room complete with a milky way and all things space.
Ivan's favorite was a Hansel and Gretel skit the kids put on. Ivan just loves all stories and theater. I got lucky and found Ivan a Messi #10 soccer outfit complete with uniform socks the night before the event. Good thing stores near the office are open late.
