More about the Abacial Church across from Solar de Albadia and Canitas Neighborhood

Remember the church we mentioned and the video with the band playing next to the hospital on October 13th?   We have learned it has more claim to fame.   It’s apparently the only church permitted by The Vatican to perform exorcisms in South America!  Maybe that is why the band plays every morning by ritual at 9 am? Maybe it’s not a hospital at all? Hmm it's about 2 blocks from the house.  Let's hope no exorcised spirits escape too far.

Seriously, it's a striking roman architecture style by  Alejandro Bustillo y Martín Noel. And it's true fame is the Gregorian chants you hear in the neighborhood.  Now it makes sense, the ladies I jogged past the other day were practicing some vocals and I couldn't quit figure them out.  It didn't sound like Opera.

Yes, the gardens are also famous and designed for the famous writer  José Hernández. Bordering on the side opposite of the hospital is the German embassy with literally a city block so dense with vegetation you are convinced it's the Black Forest.
